An elegant, complex, and crisp wine with fabulous aromas that scream tropical fruit
Do I like it?
- Would I drink a glass of this wine? Yep
- Would I drink a bottle? Yes – especially on a hot summer afternoon
- Would I buy a second bottle? Yes, I’d buy a second bottle of this wine
- Would I buy a case? No, it’s tasty but there are so many tasty Sauvignon Blancs out there
- Is this wine a game changer? Would I call up all my wine friends and tell them they have to try it? No. It’s good, but I don’t feel the need to text all my friends about it.
Is it a good gift?
- If someone gave this wine to me, would I re-gift it to a non-wine drinker rather than drinking it? Nope, I’m drinking this baby myself
- Would I give this wine to a friend as a gift? Yes, I’d bring it to a party as a gift to the host. It’s fantastic wine and a great representation of the fine Sauvignon Blancs coming out of Marlborough, New Zealand. That said, I would not give it as a birthday or holiday gift
- Would I give this wine to a wine snob as a gift? Yes, same as above – I’d give it as a hostess gift at a summer party or a BBQ, but not as a birthday or holiday gift
- If someone brought this wine to a party, would I be excited? Yes. But, I’d drink it pretty quickly (maybe even that day) rather than cellaring it. This wine should be drunk in the next couple of years.
- If someone who is an ass brings this wine to my party, is it so good I’d overlook their personality, and invite them again? No, this wine is great but it does have it’s limits
